Stillwater Medical Center does not allow VBAC birth in their hospital at this time; however you still have many options.   Your care provider is your paid consultant, hired by you, and you have a right to informed consent and informed refusal of all things.

The two main factors that affect the saftey of VBAC are;

*Type of incision- low transverse incision on your abdomen and uterus is ideal
*Reason for original cesarean- the risks must be weighed, many women can get help doing this from a care provider that is supportive of VBAC or another knowledgeable consultant.
